What does SignalScout actually look for?
You describe your product, ideal customer and the problems you solve. SignalScout searches for conversations, then uses AI to evaluate problem fit, customer fit and intent. You get scored matches with an explanation you can review.
Which platforms can I monitor?
Reddit, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. Access comes through connected data providers, and capabilities vary by provider. Posts and comments can carry very different signals, so choose the places where your customers describe their problems.
Is it free to use?
The self-hosted application is free and open source under Apache 2.0. You pay for your own hosting, social data providers and AI usage. There is no SignalScout subscription required to self-host.
Are social data and AI costs included?
Both plans use your own provider accounts. The Cloud subscription covers hosting and maintenance. Social data and AI usage are billed directly by your providers, and depend on your sources, model and polling schedule.
Can I choose my own AI model?
Yes. Bring credentials for a supported AI provider or use a compatible local model. Your instance makes the calls using your configuration.
Does it automatically contact people?
No. You review each conversation and decide whether to respond. SignalScout can help draft a reply, but you edit it and post it yourself.
What does the Cloud plan include?
Yes. SignalScout Cloud is $15 USD per month. We run the application, scheduler and database for you, including automatic updates and backups. Bring your own social data and AI keys; provider usage is billed separately.
